5k Fast is a program for intermediate runners, and works perfectly as a follow-up to our classic NoBo program! Participants will train for a 5K race, but this time, learn to run proper pace and with proper form all while working to cross the finish line faster and increasing their knowledge (and love!) of running. No Boundaries II starts with a 2.5 mile run and participants will gradually work up to 5 miles. Thursday practices will include workouts such as track, hill training, and tempo runs and Saturday runs will focus on increasing distance. Newsletters will address topics such as breathing techniques, hydration and how to pace while running. If you are able to run 3 miles in 35 minutes or faster and want to improve your 5k time, then this program is right for you!
This group will meet at Fleet Feet each Thursday evening at 6pm and at Cleveland Park on Saturdays at 8am.
