Let us help YOU get fit, meet friends and walk or run a 5k!
Meet twice a week for 10 weeks to progress towards your individual goals!
The Next No Boundaries Training Group Kicks Off February 10th, 2018! Come Join Us!
No Boundaries is a nationally organized and recognized program, offered at Fleet Feet Sports stores across the country. The program is structured to help you cross the finish line of your first 5k (3.1 miles) in just 10 weeks! The program, like Fleet Feet Sports, is all-inclusive. It knows no shape, size or speed. Along the way we’ll provide you with motivation to keep you moving, guidance and advice, weekly group training runs or walks, and educational clinics on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury. Plus, you’ll have the camaraderie of others just like you!
All fitness levels are welcome! Within No Boundaries, we will offer three training plans (we meet as one large group and split up into small groups for the workout.)
No Boundaries Walk/Run: This is our classic NoBo group, focusing on the beginner. It's great for new runners, as well as those coming of injury or rest who want a way to get back into things gradually. The program starts at run 1 minute, walk 2 minutes for a short distance and ends with run 4 minutes, walk 1 minute for the race.
No Boundaries Run Group: This group starts at 1 mile and is for those that can already run some (for example run 4 minutes, walk 1 minute) and want to work up to running most of the 5k goal race with some walking breaks.
No Boundaries II: NoBo II is a program for intermediate runners, and works perfect as a follow-up to our classic NoBo program! Participants will train for a 5K race, but this time, learn to run proper pace and with proper form all while working to cross the finish line faster and increasing their knowledge (and love!) of running. No Boundaries II starts with a 2.5 mile run and participants will gradually work up to 5 miles. Thursday practices will include workouts such as hill training and tempo runs and Saturday runs will focus on increasing distance. Newsletters will address topics such as breathing techniques, hydration and how to pace while running. If you are able to run 2.5 miles in 30 minutes or faster and want to improve your 5k time, then this program is right for you!
No Boundaries Walk: With mentors dedicated to walking workouts, No Boundaries Walk is for a participant who wants to start out walking 1 mile and work up to walking 3.5 miles by race day! All paces are welcome to join the walking group.
The program meets twice a week during the training period, Thursdays at 6 pm and Saturdays at 8 am. The workouts will last about an hour to an hour and a half as we increase mileage throughout the season. The cost of the program is $100 (less than $5 a practice). This includes a No Boundaries labeled technical shirt, giveaways, informative clinics, expert coaching and mentor assistance.
Upcoming No Boundaries Session: (We will train for 10 weeks for this Training Season)
Early bird Registration will open January 1st 2018: $90 after January 21st regular price will increase to $100.

Ashley Pearce is the head coach of the No Boundaries 5k Training Group. She enjoys watching participants meet their personal goals and also make lifelong friendships! She and her husband have three young boys. She grew up right here in Greenville and ran cross country and track at Greenville High School. Ashley went on to run at Mars Hill College, where she majored in Special Education. Ashley can’t wait to meet each new participant in the No Boundaries program.
Joining Fleet Feet as a No Boundaries participant was a life changing experience that not only gave me a passion for running; it also created a sense of confidence in all areas of my life. I had no idea that becoming a mentor for the Fleet Feet NoBo group would bring me so much joy to my world. I thought by accepting the offer of being a mentor, that I would in a sense be giving back to Fleet Feet for the happiness they gave me. However, I feel I receive more from mentoring than I give to the participants. The participants and their determination keep me inspired and motivated. I cannot imagine my world without Fleet Feet and the many running friends I have made through the groups. Fleet Feet is truly my running family. ~Sharron Phillips
When I started I could not run a mile without walking portions. Just last Saturday I was able to run the entire 5K distance! That is completely thanks to the coach and wonderful mentors that have encouraged and worked with me, and the friends I’ve made by participating in this group. This has been a fantastic experience for me!! ~Marty Price
NoBo is an amazingly supportive group of runners! Ashley is a great coach and mentors are THE BEST! ~Wanda Taylor
Q: What is the cost of registration?
A: The cost is $100 and includes a No Boundaries labeled technical shirt, prizes, giveaways, informative clinics, expert coaching and mentor assistance.
Q: If I miss workouts, or I have to consistently miss one of the days of our weekly meetings does that mean I cannot be involved in the program?
A: Of course you can still be involved! We would love to have every trainee at every run, but understand that life and obligations may get in the way. Just make sure that you are completing your training runs independently so you don’t fall behind on your progress! Also, let your coach and mentors know when you expect to miss so we don’t worry about you!
Q: How do I register?
A: Register online, or drop by the store at 635 Augusta St.
Q: What does the training schedule look like?
A: We will be starting at low mileages and building over the course of the program. It will never change suddenly or dramatically and you will always be well prepared for any increase in distance.
Q: Where do we meet?
A: We will meet at Cleveland Park Shelter #29 for most of our practices.
